Nesting of the Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula) in Dnipropetrovsk region. - R.O. Rys’, O.L. Ponomarenko. - Berkut. 32 (1-2). 2023. - The Goldeneye in Dnipropetrovsk region now has the status of a migrating and wintering species, previously it may have nested in the floodplains of the Dnipro river in Nikopol district. On June 28, 2023, a brood of a female and 4 young birds was found in the floodplain of the Samara river between Ternivka and Boguslav (48.5250° N, 36.0258° E). It is quite likely that this is the first case of Goldeneye nesting in the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region, at least in the 21st century. [Ukrainian].

Гоголь у Дніпропетровській області зараз має статус пролітного й зимуючого виду, раніше, можливо, гніздився у плавнях Дніпра в Нікопольському районі. 28.06.2023 р. був знайдений виводок із самки й 4 молодих птахів у заплаві р. Самара між смт Тернівка й с. Богуслав (48,5250° N, 36,0258° E). Цілком імовірно це перший випадок гніздування гоголя на території Дніпропетровської області, як мінімум, у ХХІ ст.
